Ameba Pigg

Hello everyone! Welcome to Liv N' Luv Japan! Now, I love anything and everything that has to do with virtual worlds and social media and I found a Japanese site that can has both! It's very popular in Japan and it deals with both social networking and virtual world game play.

It is called Ameba Pigg! To visit the site please CLICK HERE.

It is really fun and enjoyable! But, if you want to enjoy it fully then you are going to have to have a good level of the Japanese language. My Japanese is good but not great. Like I said before, I suck at reading Japanese because I don't know kanji except for the basics. But, I understand it by a little and I really liked the game itself and I wish I could use the social networks part of the site but, I can't understand the controls of it because of my Japanese. T_T

There used to be an English version of this site called Ameba Pico. I would used that site almost 24/7! I am obsessed with Ameba Pico. I would make tons of friends, play lots and lots of minigames, earn virtual money, shop for clothes and furniture. It was amazing but, after a while, Ameba Pico had been shut down like I don't know why exactly but there is no longer an Ameba Pico. I hope that someday though that Ameba Pico will be back on the internet someday soon.

Also about Ameba Pigg, I saw on YouTube videos that the Japanese would post that look much like commercials which may be a commercial in Japan, of the Japanese playing and enjoying Ameba Pigg. Here is a video I have founded. To see the video please CLICK HERE. (I cannot get the video on Liv N' Luv Japan so I used the link.)

Well, there is not much I can say now about Ameba Pigg but for you guys that are interested in this then I suggest you to give it a try! I am also planning to give this site another chance and hoping that I can use it right even though my Japanese is not too good to actually understand the game fully. ^_^;; See you guys soon!!

GAMER NOTICE! CALLING ALL POKEMON TRAINERS!

Hey you guys! I have some very exciting news for all you Pokémon trainers! Recently, I have received a new Nintendo 3DS and....Pokémon X! The game I have been dying for!! I remember when I did a review for the Pokémon XY series and I remember I told you guys I will soon get it and I finally have it. I got the Pokémon X because I really like the Legendary Pokémon and I thought it looked really cool and unique. I think the Pokémon rainbow colored horns is what really attracted me into getting that version.

I have been playing the game for almost a week now and I am really enjoying it. The best Pokémon game I have ever played in a long time! And the graphics and 3D is amazing! For my first Pokémon I had chose Froakie because I really love the cute little frog Pokémon and water types are one of my favorites including electric. When it comes to Pokémon, sometimes I forget to choose wisely in battle because I really adore tiny and cute Pokémon hahaha! ^_^; ; There just to cute! Most of my friends like the big and scary Pokémon like the dark types. But I agree with them because they do seem to be more powerful but...don't underestimate the power of the little Pokémon~!

Anyways, for you guys who have a Nintendo 3DS and own the game Pokémon XY or plan on getting it, please add me. Here is my friend code: 5129-1914-0675 and the name is OtakuQueen. Thank you guys! And I hope to battle you soon~!

Nintendo 3DS

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted a blog entry in such a long time!

Today, I will be talking about the Nintendo 3DS!

The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld 3 dimensional video game console!

Here are the things that make the Nintendo 3DS such a popular video game console:

  • 3D entertainment without glasses!
  • Games found no where else!
  • Access to Nintendo DS games!
  • 3D photos, plus more!
  • Built-in fun!
  • Downloadable games and so much more~!

                                                                       3D SCREEN
The Nintendo 3DS system system opens up a whole new world of eye-popping gameplay possibilities . The stereoscopic 3D display of the upper screen gives objects within the game world a feeling of space and depth that extends far into the back of the screen. It become easier to see the position of characters and obstacles in the world, making many game experiences become more intuitive for all types of players.

                                                                  3D DEPTH SLIDER
A built-in 3D Depth Slider allows you to immediately adjust the intensity of the 3D settings on the Nintendo 3DS system to your liking. The 3D effect can also be turned down completely—all Nintendo 3DS games and applications can be played in 2D, and look better than any Nintendo handheld before it.

                                                 MOTION SENSOR & GYRO SENSOR
Portable play control reaches a new level with these amazing features, allowing for new & unique gameplay mechanics. A built-in motion sensor and gyro sensor can react to the motion and tilt of the system, so whether players are twisting their systems side to side or moving them up and down, their motion-compatible Nintendo 3DS games respond instantly.

                                                                 ANALOG CONTROL
With the Circle Pad, located above the + Control Pad, Nintendo 3DS offers full analog control in 3D game worlds. Combined with the touch screen, traditional buttons, camera and microphone input, and advanced motion control of the Motion Sensor and Gyro Sensor, the potential is extraordinary.

                                                                       3D CAMERA
The Nintendo 3DS system uses its two outer cameras to see the world in 3D, much like the human eye. This allows for the creation of 3D photos, 3D video, and even 3D stop-motion animations, that make for an eye-popping addition to your next photo op.

                                                                     STREETPASS
Social and wired like no Nintendo system before it, Nintendo 3DS brings fellow players together in exciting new ways with StreetPass communication. Set your Nintendo 3DS to Sleep Mode and carry it with you wherever you go to exchange game data like Mii™ characters, high scores, and custom characters with other users you pass on the street. You control what data you exchange, and you can exchange data for multiple games at once, making virtual connections with real world people you encounter in your daily life.

I hope you guys had loved the article about the Nintendo 3DS~! ^_^ Just to let you guys know, most of this information is off of the official Nintendo website! (click Nintendo to visit the official site for the 3DS).
