Pokemon X & Y is an all new Pokemon video game that will be released worldwide on October 12, 2013. The game is only available for Nintendo 3DS developed by Game Freak. Before Pokemon X & Y most Pokemon games strategy is basically about players in the role of a Pokemon trainer who travels across various regions, catching creatures known as Pokemon and using them to battle against other players and other wild Pokemon. With various of previous Pokemon games, Pokemon X & Y will introduce many new species! There are three new starter Pokemon: rodent-like Grass type Chespin, the vulpine Fire-type Fennekin, and the frog-like Water-type Froakie. There is also a NEW Pokemon type! Fairy-type is introduced in Pokemon X & Y and is very effective against Dragon-type Pokemon!
For the first time ever in the Pokemon series and in the entire game, everything from environment, battle sequences, character models, etc. are presented in fully polygonal 3D graphics! Pokemon X & Y is also the first game in the main series to allow movement in all directions (including diagonally), ability to interact with things in the environment (ex. benches), and there is also an additional mode called "Pokemon-Amie" which allows players to interact with their Pokemon using the touchscreen and the 3DS inner camera. ^_^
I am so ready for Pokemon X & Y to come out~! I do have a 3DS (red) and I am saving up and planning to get Pokemon X & Y on the first day it is released. ^_^ What about you?
